Hunter Culinary Association - 2023 Front of House Scholarship

The Hunter Culinary Association is proud of its suite of Scholarships and Awards that support young and aspiring Chefs and Apprentices.

Whilst the Brett Graham Scholarship awards one of the Hunter region's most talented young chefs, their other scholarships are equally important as they encourage and enable younger apprentices to continue with their studies.

The Front of House Scholarship acknowledges the critical part that professional and committed front-of-house staff play in the culinary industry.

We are thrilled to announce that our very own front-of-house superstar, Ashton Stacey, has been awarded the Scarborough Wine Co Front of House Scholarship for 2023.

Ashton was awarded $5,000 in prize money for hospitality education and dining experience, plus a WSET Level 2 or 3 Award in Wines course with QCWT and one week 2024 vintage wine experience.

Congratulations Ashton! We do not doubt that her Front of House career will continue to flourish with this generous Scholarship from the Scarborough Wine Co.
