2022 Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay
Beechworth, VIC
Perfect green tinted colour and a sure sign of careful fruit and oak management. Aromas of grapefruit and white stonefruits with lifted toasted cashew notes from the French oak. Grapefruit pith and white nectarine carry through for a long, balanced finish. A fine textured palate with bright citrus acidity. One of the best Indigo Vineyard Chardonnays.
MAJOR ACCOLADES:
Trophy for the Gramp Hardy Hill Smith Prize for National Wine of Provenance/ Gold Medal | 2023 Royal Adelaide Wine Show
"The provence trophy is particularly satisfying, as it is judged as a set of wines over a 10 year period and only awarded to a single set of white or red wines. We entered the 2022, 2016 & 2012 Indigo Chardonnay. This award vindicates my long held belief that the Indigo Vineyard is one of Australia’s finest sites to grow Chardonnay." - Stuart Hordern (Chief Winemaker)
