As expected of a red wine with 12.5% alcohol on the label, the colour is lighter density but with bright red/garnet hues. Aromas of spiced plums and dried herbs to the fore with varietal tobacco note in the background. A medium weight palate with soft ripe cherry and dark berry fruits from start to finish. Low astringency, but the tannins are ripe giving great ‘carry’ and finish. An incredilbly approachable wine to enjoy with friends or at a Sunday BBQ.
